This Glencoe, Illinois building received its LEED for for New Construction Gold certification in 2009.
The 38,000 square-foot Plant Science Center is a laboratory and teaching facility. It houses students, scientists, land managers, interns and a doctoral program in plant biology and conservation. The facility is the headquarters for the Garden's international programs in plant conservation.
