Welcome to the Cleveland Environmental Center! The
Cleveland Environmental Center (CEC) is located in a 1918 bank building
on the near West-side in Ohio City. A joint effort of Ohio City Near West
Development Corporation, the Cleveland Green Building Coalition and Cleveland
Urban properties, the project is the first commercial green building retrofit
in Ohio, merging an historic retrofit with cutting-edge, affordable, green
building principles. This building is applying for the U.S. Green Building
Council’s LEED GOLD certification rating.
